HAJ Bleeding – State Agency Loses $900 Million In One Year

The Housing Agency of Jamaica (HAJ) continues to under-deliver on projects, even as its latest annual report showed that it racked up almost $900 million in losses in one financial year.

And with another $900-million loss projected for the 2016-2017 period, the report confirmed information released last year by Dr Horace Chang, minister without portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation, that over a three-year period, the HAJ will record close to $3 billion in losses.
